There are many ways to design a home office, but a consistent style can bring the entire workspace together. Flickr user purplelime (a.k.a Sam) took inspiration from designer toys, matched the colors, and illustrated a backdrop for both the desk and computer.
The clever idea here?that pretty much anyone can bring to their own workspace?is using the fun drawing sitting on the desk as a computer wallpaper. It looks like the wallpaper is actually a photo of what's behind the computer, allowing it to blend in nicely and match its surroundings. If your computer setup doesn't sit well (visually-speaking) in your office, consider making your wallpaper a photo of part of your office.
If you have a workspace of your own to show off, throw the pictures on your Flickr account and add it to the Lifehacker Workspace Show and Tell Pool. Include some details about your setup and why it works for you, and you just might see it featured on the front page of Lifehacker.
