Exclusive Interview
Cupcake Wasted
By Sammi-T
Cupcakes are all the rage these days and can be found on street corners everywhere. One of the latest and greatest companies is Cupcake Wasted, a New Jersey based company that is known for their cocktail cupcakes. The amazing ladies of this company recently talked to TVGrapevine in an exclusive interview to talk about what makes them stand out and where you can try them.
Tell us a little bit about your company and how you got started.
Cupcake Wasted is an alcohol infused Cupcake Company that caters to nightclubs and private orders in the Central and North Jersey area. We also service the NYC area, depending on the event.? You can find Cupcake Wasted at the hottest NJ clubs such as Park East in Hazlet, Deko Lounge in Sayreville, Central Park in Linden, WestFive in Hoboken, and Chris Michaels in Woodridge, etc.
And, our beautiful Cupcake Wasted girls can be seen walking around as shot girls selling mini Cupcake Wasted Cupcakes or celebrating our Client?s VIP birthdays with sparklers galore and a huge oversized Cupcake personalized to them! If clients prefer private events we also deliver to homes and restaurants or allow pick-up orders depending on the customers? needs.
This company began when co-owner Erica Sophia needed a side job. Soon after, friend and now co-owner Cesarina Carollo came onboard.? It was then that things started taking off and soaring to new heights.
?What made you decide to make cocktails into cupcakes?
Cocktails in cupcakes aren?t a brand new idea. At first we thought it was ours but little did we know people who love finding new ways to bake have been doing it for awhile. But Cupcake Wasted puts a trendier spin on things and is currently being marketed towards restaurants, lounges and nightlife venues and today?s generation!
What makes you stand out from the other cupcake businesses out there?
Cupcakes are the ?IT? dessert right now and you can?t go anywhere without seeing a cupcake company popping up. We will never be your everyday Cupcake Company, honestly, we refuse to. Cupcake Wasted is inspired by the new generation of partiers out there. It?s inspired by House music. It?s about dancing the night away, listening to music just a little too loud, letting go of all your stresses, celebrating life just because, and enjoying all of life?s ?sweet? moments? Why not have your DRINK and Eat it too ..
?
What are some of your future goals for the business?
We would really love to own dessert lounges all over the Tri-State area, offering amazing desserts, great cocktails, and music - all in one!
??
What are some of your favorite cupcake recipes?
Hmmm... That?s a hard one! We don?t make a cupcake we don?t love. I guess if we had to our Top 5 picks would be our Miami Vice, Caf? Patron, Red Headed Slut, Coco Loso, and Birthday Bizzle. (If you don?t know what these are, we can email a menu!)
?Do you plan on expanding your business in the future?
We have so many ideas and have so much coming up already that we are expanding faster than we ever imagined. We are not complaining!
?
?I understand you also make non-alcohol infused cupcakes. Are they the same flavors without using alcohol or different flavors?
Only some of our cupcakes can be made without the use of any alcohol. We can?t really replicate the flavors of Baileys, Guinness, and etc. We do work with our customers though to provide them with amazing cupcake options for the kids as well!
?What is one thing you want people to know about your business?
We will always provide you with the quality you want. We never will allow ourselves to deplete our quality for quantity of orders. All of our cupcakes are made to order and made with REAL ingredients.? By the way, if you can?t find your favorite alcoholic mixed drink on our menu, let us know and we will create it for you!
?Where can people try and buy your cupcakes?
